Do my oversea Universities’ undergraduate degrees and transcripts need to be certified by the third party?
If you plan to apply for advanced studies in North America (graduate school), some schools require students to provide certificates or course certification by the third party.
Does the undergraduate or graduate degree I obtained at a North American university need to be certified by the Service Center for Overseas Studies of the local Education Department（CSCES）?
In national enterprises and national policy applications, the CSCES certification is the official authoritative certificate for overseas academic qualifications.
According to the relevant regulations of the relevant ministries and commissions of the State Council and the Office of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, CSCES certification is required to proof of foreign academic degree qualifications when you apply for civil servants, join national enterprises and institutions, apply for higher education degrees; at the same time, promotions and adjustments in such units It is also necessary to provide the personnel department with the CSCES certification.
Can the online short-term courses/certificates I completed during the COVID-19 pandemic be certified by the CSCES?
Short-term courses/certificates cannot be certified, only degree programs can be certified by the CSCES. The degree certification needs to provide a hard copy of the transcript and a scanned copy of the degree certificate.
